- Minimum Age Limit: 20 Years

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates.
Salary and Benefits
Salary/Stipend Points:
- The apprentices are eligible for a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000/-.
- The stipend will be provided for the entire engagement period of one year.
Benefits Points:
- Apprentices are NOT eligible for any other allowances or benefits available to regular employees.
- Successful apprentices will receive weightage/relaxation in the recruitment of Junior Associates in SBI, subject to satisfactory conduct and performance.
- Candidates will receive a joint National Apprenticeship Certificate issued by SBI-NSDC/BFSI-SSC upon successfully passing the skill evaluation test.
Selection Process
The selection process for the engagement of apprentices consists of the following stages:
Stage 1: Online Written Test
- This is an objective-type multiple-choice examination.
- The test consists of 100 questions for 100 marks.
- Total duration is 60 minutes with 15 minutes allotted to each section.
- There is a negative marking of 1/4th of a mark for each wrong answer.
Stage 2: Test of Local Language
- Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the specified local language of the opted state.
- Candidates who produce a 10th or 12th standard mark sheet evidencing that they studied the specified local language will be exempt from this test.
- Those who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged.
Stage 3: Medical Examination
- Engagement is subject to being declared medically fit as per the bank’s requirements.

- Step 1: First, it is mandatory to register on the NAPS portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in.

- Step 3: Open the appropriate Online Application Form available under “Current Openings”.
- Step 4: Fill the application form carefully and save the data to generate a provisional registration number and password.
- Step 5: Upload your scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration exactly as per the specified guidelines.
- Step 6: Candidates will also be required to capture and upload a live photograph using a webcam or by scanning a QR code with a mobile phone.
