Selection Process
The selection will be made through a competitive written examination only.
Stage 1. Competitive Examination (Objective Type – MCQ, 200 marks, 3 hours duration, minimum qualifying standard of 40% for each category)
Stage 2. Provisional Merit List (Category-wise merit list prepared based on exam scores + additional marks for Widow/Sports if applicable)
Stage 3. Original Document Verification (Candidates in the provisional merit list will be called for verification of original certificates)
Stage 4. District Allocation (On-screen district allocation based on merit rank and available vacancies)
Salary & Pay Scale – GPSSB Gram Sevak and Pashudhan Nirikshak Recruitment 2026
Fixed Salary (First 5 Years): ₹26,000 per month (as per Finance Department resolution dated 18.10.2023)
- Regular Pay Scale (After 5 Years): As per the prevailing government rules and pay matrix for Group-3 posts
- Additional Benefits: Allowances as applicable under Gujarat government rules (subject to regularization)
- Probation Period: 5 years on fixed salary, followed by regular appointment upon satisfactory completion of service and departmental examinations.
