Salary and Benefits

Salary is as per 7th Central Pay Commission Pay Levels

Approximate Monthly Salary Range (Gross):

  • Level 2 (Assistant): ₹25,000 – ₹45,000
  • Level 5–8 (Junior Officer / Section Officer): ₹45,000 – ₹90,000
  • Level 10–12 (Senior & Deputy Director): ₹80,000 – ₹1,60,000+

Selection Process

  • Non-Academic Posts: Written Test and/or Skill Test
  • Senior Posts (Deputy Director, Assistant Director, Senior Scientific Officer): Interview

Shortlisting will be done on the basis of qualifications and experience. Final selection is based on merit. No TA/DA will be paid for tests or interview. Selected candidates will be on 2 years probation.
