Selection Process of MP Police Constable Band Vacancy 2026
The recruitment will be completed in 3 stages:
Step 1. Screen Test (Skill Test) – Qualifying only
Candidates will be tested on one instrument from List “A”. No marks. Only qualified candidates move to next stage.
Step 2. Band Playing Test (75 marks)
- Trade Test (List “A” instrument): 60 marks
- Bonus for extra instruments from List “B”: 15 marks (5 marks each, maximum 15)
Minimum qualifying marks: 50% for UR/OBC/EWS, 40% for SC/ST
Step 3. Interview (25 marks)
Total marks = Band Test + Interview = 100 marks
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of Band Test + Interview marks.
Step 4. Physical Measurement
