Eligibility Criteria of APSSB Recruitment 2026
Educational Qualification

| Lower Division Clerk (LDC) & Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) | Class XII pass from a recognized Board or Institution. Plus, typing speed of 35 words per minute on computer (10500 Key Depressions Per Hour on average of 5 key depressions per word). |
| Driver | Class X or ITI or equivalent pass from a recognized Board or Institution. |
Minimum Qualifying Service:
For LDC/JSA: MTS with 8 years regular service and Class XII pass, or Skilled Contingency Staff with 12 years continuous service and Class XII pass.
For Driver: Contingency Skilled Driver with 10 years service and Class X/ITI, or Handyman with 6 years regular service and Class X/ITI.
Age Limit (as on February 25, 2026)
- For MTS in LDC/JSA: Up to 45 years (50 years for APST candidates).
- For Skilled Contingency Staff in LDC/JSA: No age limit (decided by departments).
- For Driver: No age limit (decided by departments).
Salary and Benefits

Selection Process of APSSB Recruitment 2026
The selection has two stages for each post:
Stage 1: Written Exam (Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions)
- For LDC/JSA: 200 marks, 2 hours. Subjects: General Awareness (50 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 marks), Arithmetical & Numerical Ability (50 marks), English Language & Comprehension (50 marks).
- For Driver: 200 marks, 2 hours. Subjects: General Awareness (25 marks), General Intelligence & Reasoning (25 marks), Arithmetical & Numerical Ability (25 marks), English Language & Comprehension (25 marks), Technical Paper (100 marks).
Stage 2: Skill Test
- For LDC/JSA: Typing Test (35 words per minute, qualifying only).
- For Driver: Driving Test (qualifying only, need valid Driving License).
