Selection Process
The selection for UPSSSC Lower PCS will be conducted in the following structured stages:
Stage 1: Shortlisting based on PET-2025
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the Main Written Examination on the basis of their normalized scores obtained in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025).
- The Commission will shortlist candidates 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies.
Stage 2: Main Written Examination
- Candidates shortlisted from Stage 1 will be required to appear for a single objective-type written examination comprising 100 questions.
- There will be negative marking of 25% (0.25 marks) for every incorrect answer.
