Eligibility Criteria of Assam Rifles Compassionate Recruitment 2026
This recruitment is only for one dependent family member of Assam Rifles personnel who were:
- Killed in Action, or
- Died while in service, or
- Discharged from service on medical grounds, or
- Missing while in service.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet the required educational and technical standards for the applied post.

Note on Physical Test
Physical standards and efficiency tests will be as per Assam Rifles rules. Details will be shared with eligible candidates in the call letter. Candidates must meet the required height, chest and running standards for their category.

For Rifleman level posts: Pay in Level-3 of 7th CPC (starting around ₹21,700 + allowances).
