Selection Process of MECON Non-Executive Vacancy 2026
Step 1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Eligible candidates are called for the CBT.
- Admit Card is uploaded on the Candidate Registration Portal and sent via registered email.
Step 2. Declaration of Final Selected Candidates
- After the CBT, MECON prepares the merit list based on CBT scores.
- The final list of selected candidates is uploaded on the MECON website.
- Selected candidates are also informed through their registered email ID.
Step 3. Medical Examination
- Selected candidates must undergo a medical examination at MECON’s designated hospital (Ispat Hospital, Shyamali, Ranchi).
- Appointment is subject to being declared medically fit by the company’s Medical Board.
- The decision of the Medical Board is final and binding.
Step 4. Document Verification & Joining
- Candidates must produce all original documents at the time of joining for final verification.
- If any information/document is found false or ineligible at any stage (even after selection), the candidature is cancelled.
- Selected candidates are offered appointment in the regular scale of pay and can be posted anywhere in India.
