The online IRCTC chart vacancies provides both a reservation chart and a vacancy chart (train seat status). The passenger’s name, ticket number, train coach, seat number, and the number of available seats on a train are all included in the reservation chart after the final chart preparation. TTE’s reservation inquiry system shows passenger names in its web charts, but Indian Railways’ does not for privacy and security reasons.
The chart must be prepared eight hours before the scheduled departure time of 9 p.m. for trains departing between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. In order to adjust for vacancies, the final chart can be reviewed in the last 30 minutes.

Post Chart Preparation (approximately 4 hours prior to departure): Any available seats are offered for sale at the station as “Current Booking.”
